Follow my blog with Bloglovin Rafe's one month update continued...

Just a very quick post to add to Rafe's one month update, we had the health visitor come and weigh Rafe today and he is now 10lb 2!! He will be five weeks old tomorrow and considering that he was 6lb 9 when he was born and I have, and still am exclusively breastfeeding him I am so so happy with that weight gain.
Breastfeeding has had it's highs and lows, I feel so lucky that I have been able to do it but there have been times when I have thought about giving up and getting formula. I am not saying for a moment that there is anything wrong with choosing to bottle feed it was just important to me that I could breastfeed.

I am planning on doing a whole post on my personal experience of breastfeeding where I will include the problems I have faced, the products that have made it so much more comfortable and the foods that I eat to ensure I maintain a good milk supply while working out.
